When she investigates a case where a young mother murders her family in their own home, Detective Muldoon (Riseborough) discovers that the house is cursed by a vengeful ghost who dooms anyone who enters it to a horrific death. Now, she must protect herself and her young son from the deadly force of nature that occupies the house…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

A new version of the Grudge series might not be exactly what people may have been asking for, but given that filmmaker Nicolas Pesce is behind it – following a couple of solid hits with The Eyes Of My Mother and Piercing – there is hope that this is one of the few horror reboots that sticks the landing.
