WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

In England, during the early days of the Second World War, Churchill’s new spy agency – the Special Operations Executive – recruits and trains women as spies, with a mission to conduct sabotage and build a resistance across Europe. Among the women recruited by SOE’s Vera Atkins (Katic) are ambitious, wooden-legged American Virginia Hill (Thomas), and Muslim pacifist Noor Inayat Khan (Apte), who together leave an unmistakable legacy as they undermine the Nazis in France…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

This thrilling wartime adventure sheds light on some important figures who have been hidden from the public eye for way too long, including Noor Inayat Khan who was the first female wireless operator sent to France for the resistance.
