WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Danny (Gittins) runs a popular Mod nightclub and owns a successful scooter shop on the side, but when he is introduced to unhinged gangster and the club’s secret financier Mad Mike (Peden), Danny is coerced into pulling off an illegal drugs run to the Isle of Wight, in return for his shares in the club. Desperate, Danny turns to his local Mod community for help, and soon they concoct a plan that will see them use the Isle of Wight’s upcoming Mod festival as an ingenious cover…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

In this modern Mod fairy tale, we not only get a crowd-pleasing tale of crime and gangsters, but also a surprising reunion of most of the cast from the cult British classic Quadrophenia.
