WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

After being separated by the Syrian Civil War, engaged couple Sam (Mahayni) and Abeer (Liane) are further estranged when she is forced to marry a wealthy man and move to Brussels, while he seeks refuge in Lebanon. Desperate for money and necessary paperwork to travel to Europe and save her, Sam agrees to let his back become a canvas for a famous tattoo artist, which soon attracts the attention of art collectors from around the world. Soon, though, Sam realises that he has sold more than just his skin…
