WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

In the 1970s, 12-year-old Gru (Carell) aspires to be the world’s greatest supervillain, and with his loyal army of Minions he sets out to join his idol group the Vicious 6 when a spot opens among their ranks. However, when Gru and the Minions end up falling afoul of the group, they must go on the run and figure a way to best their new enemies…
