WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

It’s the mid-Eighties, and Michael “Eddie” Edwards (Egerton) has a dream: to one day represent Great Britain in the highly competitive sport of ski jumping in the Winter Olympics of 1988. With the help of a rebellious but charismatic coach (Jackman) Michael – later re-christened “Eddie the Eagle” – manages to overcome everybody’s expectations and become a beloved figure of the sport…
