WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

In late 1970s Croydon, teen punk enthusiast Enn (Sharp) crashes a party thrown by local punk Queen Boadicea (Kidman), where he meets and quickly falls for enigmatic American foreign exchange student Zan (Fanning). However, it turns out that Zan is part of an alien cult that has come to Earth for a rite of passage, and when she is faced with certain death, Enn must find a way for her life to be spared…

John Cameron Mitchell, who first made waves with his 2001 debut Hedwig and the Angry Inch, returns with an adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s bizarre short story about aliens and punk rock (always a great combination).
