WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

20,000 years in the past, during the last Ice Age, a young tribesman (Smit-McPhee) on his first hunt is injured and left for dead. When he regains consciousness, he finds himself forced to navigate the harsh and unforgiving wilderness if he is to survive. Along the way, he finds and tends to a lone wolf separated from its pack, and the two form an unlikely bond as they make their way home before the deadly winter arrives…
