Despite managing to find a way to escape her time-loop that saw her be killed over and over again by a masked killer, Tree Gelbman (Rothe) finds herself unexpectedly re-entering it once more, only this time with her friends – including her boyfriend Carter (Broussard) – also caught in the loop. When Tree discovers that original killer Lori (Modine) has been murdered, she and her friends must now try and unmask the new killer while also breaking free of the cycle for good – but that means they’re going to have to keep dying over and over again…
