Merab (Gelbakhiani) is an ambitious young dancer at the National Georgian Ensemble, where he trains with his partner Mary (Javakishvili). However, he is thrown off by the arrival of Irakli (Valishvili), a fellow male dancer with a rebellious streak, and soon he becomes Merab’s biggest rival and also his strongest desire…

This passionate coming-of-age story has already gained controversy in its native Georgia for its content, but a release in more accepting parts of the world such as the UK should help the film overcome its unfortunate home reception.
