WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

On an island populated by flightless birds, Red (Sudeikis) is struggling with a lot of internal anger that has built up over the years, something that is only increased by the sudden arrival of a pig colony as led by their King Leonard (Hader), which Red immediately finds suspicious. When the pigs’ true motives suddenly come to light, it’s up to Red and the fellow bird community to vent their anger into getting their revenge on the pigs…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

In perhaps the first known instance of a popular app being given its own movie, The Angry Birds Movie transports the action from your phone to the big screen in many hilarious ways.
