WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Following the events of Captain America: Civil War, Scott Lang aka Ant-Man (Rudd) has been sentenced to live under house arrest, where he tries to balance his desires for super-heroics with being a father to his young daughter Cassie (Fortson). Soon, he is reunited with his mentor Hank Pym (Douglas) and his daughter Hope van Dyne (Lily), who herself has been fitted with a suit with similar shrinking abilities as Lang’s, who call upon him to help with a new threat. Now, it’s up to Lang – Ant-Man – and van Dyne – the Wasp – to team up and save the day…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

Despite Disney giving UK audiences this film a whole month after its US release (thanks, World Cup), the latest entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is a highly enjoyable return to one of its more fun hero’s adventures, which prove once and for all that size doesn’t matter.
