WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

In 19th century France, a young orphan named Félicie (Fanning) dreams of attending a prestigious ballet school in Paris, so she can become a ballerina. Together with her young inventor friend Victor (DeHaan), who has dreams of his own, they run away from their orphanage in Brittany and to the city of Paris, where Félicie assumes the identity of a spoiled young girl named Camille (Ziegler) to attend the school. When she starts to struggle with her training, a mysterious caretaker named Odette (Jepson) takes Félicie under her wing and trains her to become a truly spectacular dancer…
