WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

In the early 1970s, Ron Stallworth (Washington) becomes the first African-American detective on the Colorado Springs Police Department. Determined to make a name for himself amongst his dominantly-white colleagues, he plans to expose the Ku Klux Klan by posing as a racist extremist over the phone, and setting fellow cop Flip Zimmerman (Driver) to pose as him in person. They soon discover a nefarious plot within the hate group, and together they must try and stop things from becoming too crazy…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

Spike Lee is back with his most relevant – and angriest – film in years, about a real-life tale of infiltration within one of the most racist groups in America.
