However, Rachel soon learns that Nick neglected to mention that he comes from one of the wealthiest families in China, and that he is one of the country’s most eligible bachelors, leading Rachel to experience the insanely rich lifestyle that Nick and his family lead, while also trying to win the approval of Nick’s domineering mother Eleanor (Yeoh)…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

There’s a lot that’s at stake with Crazy Rich Asians, what with it being the first major Hollywood productions with an all-Asian cast that’s also released at a time where calls for more diversity in film are greater than ever before, but luckily this is a charming and irresistible rom-com that’s as fantastic to experience as it is to witness.
