Caleb (Gleeson), a young coder at the world’s largest internet company, wins a competition to spend a week at a remote resort owned by the company’s reclusive CEO, Nathan (Isaac). When he arrives there, Caleb soon discovers that he is to participate in a fascinating experiment involving the world’s first true artificial intelligence, in the form of a beautiful woman named Ava (Vikander). As the days go by, the relationship between all three individuals intensifies to an uncomfortable degree…
