WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Riley Anderson (Dias) is an 11-year-old girl who is uprooted from her comfortable life in the Midwest to San Francisco where her father (MacLachlan) has found a new job. Riley, like everyone else, is guided internally by her emotions: Joy (Poehler), Sadness (Smith), Fear (Hader), Anger (Black) and Disgust (Kaling), who live inside Riley’s mind and operate from Headquarters, the control centre, as they advise Riley through everyday life. As Riley and the emotions struggle with life in a new environment, Joy and Sadness are forced together on an epic journey through the mind…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

After a few underachieving outings, Pixar is finally back at the top of their game with an original tale of what happens inside the mind of an ordinary child.
