WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Filmmaker Ismaël Vuillard (Amalric) is still mourning the loss of his wife Carlotta (Cotillard), who disappeared twenty years ago and was presumed dead. Nevertheless, he has started over with his new muse Sylvia (Gainsbourg) and is in the middle of developing his latest film. However, everything is called into question when, out of the blue, Carlotta suddenly reappears…
