WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

22 years after entrepreneur John Hammond first envisioned a theme park filled with cloned dinosaurs, said park is now up and running – rebranded Jurassic World – with thousands of tourists descending upon Isla Nublar to experience the prehistoric creatures in their natural habitat. In a bid to boost public interest, the park’s geneticists create a modified hybrid dinosaur named the Indominus rex – which, naturally, soon escapes and causes havoc on the island. Now, it’s up to behavioural researcher Owen (Pratt) and the Jurassic World security team to contain the dinosaur before it causes too much harm…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

Over twenty years since Steven Spielberg first teased the idea of dinosaurs walking amongst us once again in his groundbreaking blockbuster Jurassic Park, we finally see that vision come to life in the most fantastical – and, of course, dangerous – of ways in the long-awaited follow-up Jurassic World.
