Inspired by Superman’s (Cavill) selfless act of courage that cost him his life, Bruce Wayne aka Batman (Affleck) and his new ally Diana Price aka Wonder Woman (Gadot) set out to find other “metahumans” to help fight an oncoming battle. They come across Arthur Curry aka Aquaman (Momoa) who has the power to control the ocean, Barry Allen aka The Flash (Miller) who harbours incredible speed, and Victor Stone aka Cyborg (Fisher) who uses his cybernetic new body to manipulate technology. Once assembled, they must band together to fight against the wrath of alien god Steppenwolf (Hinds), who has come to conquer the planet…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

There are high hopes for this long-awaited superhero team-up movie, especially since the DC Universe recently got back into people’s good books with Wonder Woman, which has left people with some hope that Zack Snyder (with help from Joss Whedon) has learned from past mistakes and actually made a good superhero movie this time around.
