WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Ryan (Johnson) and Justin (Wayans, Jr.) are two struggling friends who decide to go to a fancy dress party as cops, and soon become neighbourhood sensations when people mistake them for the real thing. But when they soon find themselves caught up in the world of the mob as well as with corrupt detectives, the two friends must put their fake badges on the line…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

Despite the fact that Let’s Be Cops seems to be promoting a major criminal offense – impersonating a policeman – there is promise that hopefully the sheer stupidity of the situation makes for some heavy laughs along the way.
