WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

It’s 1962, and the Cultural Revolution is just around the corner. Young lovers Florence (Ronan) and Edward (Howle) have just gotten married, and are spending their honeymoon at a seaside town in Dorset. However, when talk comes of them consummating the marriage, Florence is unusually reluctant, and so begins a downward spiral for the couple as they begin to realise how they may not be right for each other after all…
