In 1845 Ireland, fisherman Colmán Sharkey (Ó Héalai) is forced to abandon his family when he is accused of a crime he didn’t commit, and settles on a remote island where he lives a solitary life as the Great Famine claims his family and community as victims. After years of solitude, an unexpected friendship with a young girl named Kitty (Ní Chuinn) might just save his life…
