In an Australian zoo, a group of deadly animals – including Maddie the poisonous snake (Fisher), self-assured Thorny Devil lizard Zoe (Tapsell), lovelorn spider Frank (Pearce) and sensitive scorpion Nigel (Imrie) – decide that they are tired of being gawked at, and make a daring escape towards the free space of the Outback. However, when their obnoxious koala nemesis Pretty Boy (Minchin) unexpectedly joins their escape, the group is pursued by relentless zookeeper Chaz (Bana) across the wilderness…
