WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

In 1930s New York City, young Georgia Nolan (Cooke) dreams of becoming the first female firefighter, following in the footsteps of her fireman father Shawn (Branagh), but she is unable to qualify because she is a woman. When some of the city’s top firemen start to go missing at the sites of mysterious fires on Broadway, Georgia disguises herself as a new male recruit named “Joe” and joins her father’s improvised team of firefighters charged with finding the elusive arsonist, while she struggles to keep her identity a secret…
