WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Al Clancy (O’Connell) mistakenly agrees to look after his ten-year-old nephew Karl (Minogue-Lee) for the week, which jeopardises his job and his home. In an effort to save his unfulfilling job as a poster boy, Al and Karl steal the family camper-van and embark on a cross-country tour across Ireland, but they soon discover that it’ll be much harder than it seems to stay calm in each other’s company…

Dave Minogue’s semi-autobiographical film is a funny and endearing Irish road trip comedy with showcases for tons of new local talent, as well as a major cameo from former Boyzone member Keith Duffy.
