WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

A painting known as “Salvator Mundi” is unearthed at a shady New Orleans auction house, and is bought for $1,175. Upon making restorations, discoveries of Renaissance-era brushstrokes indicate that the painting may have been created by Leonardo da Vinci, sparking an intense worldwide battle for ownership which ultimately ends with it being sold for $450 million – and that’s before questions about its authenticity begin to emerge…
