WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

In the early 20th century, Kirsty Macleod (Corfield) lives an isolated life in a small, quiet village in the Scottish Highlands. She dreams of leaving the village behind with her lover Murdo (Fletcher) and making a new life in America, but when the Great War breaks out, Murdo is conscripted to join the British Army. However, the night before Murdo and other soldiers head to battle, tragedy strikes and changes Kirsty’s life forever…
