WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

In 1994, Japanese reporter Fukamachi (Boisseau) finds a camera that could determine whether or not legendary climbers George Malloy and Andrew Irvine actually were the first to make it to the peak of Mount Everest seventy years prior. Fukamachi dives deep into the obsessive world of mountain climbing when he meets the camera’s owner, a climber named Habu (Herson-Macarel) believed to have been missing for years, and begins documenting Habu’s own ascent up Everest…
