WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

In 2028 Detroit, robot technology conglomerate Omnicorp sees its chance to bring its android defence unit to the streets when Alex Murphy (Kinnaman), a loving husband and father as well as hard-working cop, is badly injured in the line of duty. Enlisting scientist Dr. Dennett Norton (Oldman) to oversee the experiment, Omnicorp reconfigures Murphy into a half-man, half-machine who patrols the streets as Robocop…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

Remakes of cult classics are difficult pills to swallow, but it seems as though Robocop v.2 has the right-minded people involved both on and off-camera to give it the right amount of justice to make for a brand-new blockbuster thrill-ride.
