WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

In the outback of the Australian Northern Territory during the late 1920s, Sam Kelly (Morris) is an Aboriginal farmer sent to help a bitter war veteran named Harry (Leslie) by renovating his cattle yards. After a disagreement between the two men, Sam kills Harry in self-defence and is hunted down for killing a white man, but as the manhunt rages on the true nature of the killing is brought more and more to light…
