However, as the First World War breaks out and all three men are shipped to the front lines, Vera abandons her studies and volunteers as a nurse where she witnesses the horrors and heartbreak of the war…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

Based on the memoir by the real-life Vera Britton, Testament of Youth is a tragic and hard-hitting tribute to those who gave their lives in the First World War and also a fascinating account of the woman who endured so much personal suffering during it all.
