WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Max Simkin (Sandler) is a New York cobbler that works in the same shop owned by his family for generations, but he’s grown dissatisfied with his dull life. He then comes across a mysterious heirloom which, to his surprise, grants him the ability to – quite literally – step into the shoes of his customers, and with it starts to see the world in a brand new way…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

A very different Adam Sandler film to what we’re used to – and thank God for that, too – The Cobbler sees the Marmite actor/comedian team up with the acclaimed filmmaker Thomas McCarthy to deliver a sweet and sole-ful (we’ll show ourselves out…) piece.
