WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

In 1952, a freak storm just off the coast of Cape Cod severely damages an oil tanker, quite literally ripping the vessel in half and leaving the surviving crew stranded and seemingly without hope. In response, the Coast  Guard sends four men, among them Bernie Webber (Pine), out in a small lifeboat to save the crew before they lose their lives on the rapidly-sinking ship…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

The daring rescue of the oil tanker Pendleton by the Cape Cod Coast Guard, considered to be one of the most notable small-boat rescues in modern history, is well-documented in this thrilling drama.
