WHAT’S IT ABOUT?
In 1930s Korea, during the Japanese occupation, a young woman named Sook-hee (Tae-ri) is hired as a handmaiden for wealthy Japanese heiress Lady Hideko (Min-hee), who lives a secluded life with her domineering uncle (Jin-woong).
