WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Tony (Driver), a cynical and disillusioned advertisement director, returns to Spain to shoot a new advert, near the same town where he shot his student film about the mythical figure Don Quixote. Soon, he runs into elderly cobbler Javier (Pryce) who Tony cast as Quixote in his student film, but Javier has since become convinced that he is the real Don Quixote and, mistaking Tony as his sidekick Sancho Panza, whisks him away on a journey where both fantasy and reality begin to blend together…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

Terry Gilliam spent more than thirty years trying to make this film, and several years in development hell later he has finally brought it to life, in typical Terry Gilliam style.
