Brooks Rattigan (Centineo) is a high school student who aspires to attend his dream college, but lacks the funding to afford it. After he is paid to pose as the boyfriend of the self-assured Celia Lieberman (Marano), he senses an opportunity to make some extra cash to pay for college, so enlists the help of his programmer friend Murph (Gerorgiardis) to create and launch an app for him to act as a plus-one for all occasions…
