WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

In 1961, celebrated Russian ballet dancer Rudolf Nureyev (Ivenko) travels outside the Soviet Union for the first time to Paris. However, KGB agents are watching his every move, becoming increasingly suspicious of his behaviour and especially of his friendship with young Parisian Clara Saint (Exarchopoulos), and when they confront him with a shocking demand, he must make a heart-breaking decision that will change his life forever…
