After her husband commissions a portrait by struggling young artist Jan van Loos (DeHaan), he and Sophia begin a passionate affair, and in an attempt to escape her unhappy marriage she decides to risk everything with her new lover and enter the frenzied tulip market, hoping that the right bulb will make a fortune and buy their freedom…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

It’s honestly hard to be excited for a film that spent more than a few years in release date hell before debuting to pretty bad feedback, not to mention the fact that the disgraced Harvey Weinstein is a producer on this, but… um… the cast is pretty good?
