Off the coast of a remote town in Scotland during the Second World War, a ship carrying 50,000 crates of whisky is wrecked after a terrible storm – and the locals, who have recently been experiencing a severe alcohol drought, plunder every last crate and try to avoid being caught…

This remake of the classic Ealing comedy, long in development but only now being made on a fairly low budget, updates the tomfoolery and shenanigans for a brand new audience.
