Femi (Golding) is a young British-Nigerian boy living with his foster mother Mary (Black) in Lincolnshire, but when his birth mother (Ikumelo) comes to reclaim him, he is whisked away to his mother’s dingy London flat. As a teenager, Femi (Adewunmi) struggles to find his footing in the much harsher London environment…
