WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Ronnie (Sherman) is a 28-year-old loner who lives with his possessive mother (Kirkland), and who broods over his miserable experience after he is rejected from the military for being mentally unstable. When he begins creating alt-right vlogs where he rails against those he considers his enemies, he receives a huge amount of support from the online extremist community, which enables his increasingly erratic behaviour until it inspires him to do something terrible…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

Billed as a grittier and more disturbing version of Joker, this unsettling morality tale takes a look at online extremism and the complex souls who become part of it.
