WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

A young man known as “Cherry” (Holland) drops out of college to enlist in the US Army, where he serves as a medic on the Iraqi battlefield. Although he returns home a war hero, the experience leaves Cherry with severe and undiagnosed PTSD, and soon he becomes addicted to the medication he is prescribed. To fund his drug addiction, he eventually turns to a life of crime…
