WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

The Peterson family are struggling to cope with the loss of eldest son Caleb, who had served and died in Afghanistan, until they receive a visit from the charismatic David (Stevens) who claims to have served with Caleb in the war. Welcomed into their home when he says he has a promise to fulfil to his fallen comrade, David proceeds to win over the family with his charisma and upbeat attitude. Of course it’s all too good to be true, as proven by a series of sinister events that follow his arrival…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

The writer and director of last year’s horror cult hit You’re Next reunite to bring us the sinister tale of a stranger terrorising a grieving family (or is he?) – and may have just made their most entertaining movie yet because of it.
