WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

Alithea Binnie (Swinton) is a lonely British scholar who has gone on a trip to Istanbul. There, she finds a relic and, upon opening it in her hotel room, unleashes a magical Djinn (Elba) who offers to grant her three wishes in exchange for his freedom.
