WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

After the devastating Battle of Gallipoli during the First World War, Australian farmer Connor (Crowe) travels to Istanbul to discover the fate of his sons who are reported missing in action. There, he forms a relationship with Ayshe (Kurylenko), the Turkish owner of the hotel he stays in, and makes his way across the war-torn landscape to discover the truth of his son’s whereabouts…
