He soon finds himself on the battlefields of Okinawa in one of the bloodiest conflicts of the war, where he ends up making a difference without touching a single weapon…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

Mel Gibson returns to the director’s chair for the first time in over ten years to tell the brave and inspiring true story of Desmond Doss, who despite facing significant odds during one of the bloodiest battles in the Second World War, managed to save countless lives – all without ever touching a single weapon.
