WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

During the 2013 Boston Marathon, brothers Dzhokhar Tsarnaev (Wolff) and Tamerlan Tsarnaev (Melikidze) detonate two bombs, which kill three people and severely injure many others. With the city of Boston on lockdown during a manhunt for the two terrorists, a number of individuals including police sergeant Tommy Saunders (Wahlberg) come together to try and catch them before they cause any more acts of violence…

IN ONE SENTENCE, WHY SHOULD YOU BE EXCITED?

Patriots Day tells the heroic story of an entire city coming together to find the two terrorists who caused the Boston Marathon bombings of 2013, which some may view as being too soon but is thrilling and emotional entertainment nonetheless.
