WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

In 1970s Kingston, a young Jamaican man named D (Ameen) has not recovered since the childhood murder of his older brother Jerry Dread (Creary). Taken in by local Don and music producer King Fox (Shepherd), he is soon dispatched to Hackney, London, where he reunites with his childhood sweetheart Yvonne (Jackson) and his young daughter. Before he is persuaded to give up his life of crime, he comes into contact with the man who shot his brother, which puts him on a dangerous path that leads to vicious London gangster Rico (Graham)…
