WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

In Paris during the early 1990s, a group of mostly gay and HIV-positive activists called ACT UP go to war against several government agencies and pharmaceutical corporations, to fight for those stricken with HIV/AIDS. Nathan (Valois), a newcomer to the movement, falls in love with their firebrand Sean (Biscayart), and their passion for each other burns against the backdrop of the group’s struggle for a breakthrough…
